Honed concrete Perth services are ideal when you want a suitable concrete slab mechanically ground to create a flatter, smoother aggregate finish. Perth Blast N Seal uses diamond tooling to hone existing concrete and slabs installed by other contractors. We do not supply or pour concrete, so any new slab must be arranged separately before our finishing work can begin.
The honing process removes a controlled amount from the top of the concrete with diamond grinding tools. This reduces sharp high points, levels the visible surface and exposes more of the aggregate below. The amount removed is guided by the chosen appearance and what the existing slab allows.
Honed concrete is generally associated with a smooth, lower-sheen finish rather than the reflective gloss of highly polished indoor concrete. For pool surrounds, patios and other outdoor settings, the required texture and sealing system should be discussed as part of the job. A smooth appearance should never be treated as a substitute for assessing wet-area use, falls and surface grip.
